The Most Delicious Chai Around Atlanta

I am a lover of chai. I don’t remember when this infatuation began but I have been tastefully smitten ever since.

With that, I am extremely judicious when it comes to cafe chais. Most places really use watered down recipes (hey Oprah’s Starbucks drink from 2014) or go heavy on nutmeg (right) or cardemom. I like my chai to have a creamy, milk base with a perfect balance of cardemom, ginger, and cinnamon.

Based on my preference, I’ve been mentally collecting a list of places where one can find the best chai in cafes around Atlanta.

A hot chai from Cafe Posh. I generally sub with almond milk, but it’s all good all the same.

Cafe Posh

This former-Sandy Springs, now-Buckhead cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired meals. Grab the chai and something to eat, like my go-to, their everything bagel. Visit the Cafe Posh website or stop by: 3150 Roswell Rd. NW, Atlanta, Georgia.

Atlanta Bread

Yes, this chain restaurant actually has an amazing hot chai. Granted, it only comes in one size, it’s worth the ~$5 you’ll spend. Visit the Atlanta Bread website to find the closest location near you.

ChocoLate Coffee

Chamblee- and Decatur-adjacent residents are lucky to be near ChocoLate, which offers an iced chai and chai frappe in addition to a delicious hot spiced chai. Oh, and that’s not even mentioning their chocolate chai. ChocoLate’s drinks come in 3 sizes, the largest being a whopping 20 ounces that I can rarely finish in one sitting. Visit the ChocoLate website to find the nearest location to you.

Do you have a favorite chai spot in the A that I’m not aware of? Find me on IG @ demitashe or on Twitter @ demitashe and let me know where so I can get this good chai-ness in my life, thankssss.
